Check the minion’s Behavior settings
If a minion isn’t working, open its Behavior tab and check whether it’s allowed to take the job you expect it to do. The official Malignus press kit describes work permissions on that tab. This is the first check to make before adjusting job priorities.
Compare priorities in Dungeon Duties
Open Dungeon Duties and look at the minion’s priorities for the work you need. If another duty has priority, adjust the entries to match what you want done next. The table covers jobs such as Hunting, Mining, Torture, and Guard Duty, with settings for each minion.
Make sure there’s a marked job to take
If the minion can do the work and the priority looks right, check that there’s a job available. For excavation, use Mine to mark the rock you want cleared. The developer’s example shows minions taking the marked jobs themselves. A work priority tells them what to favor when jobs exist. Marking the rock supplies a job for them to take.
