Select a shelf and open Storage
Select the shelf you want to organize, then open its Storage tab. The official Malignus press kit shows a kitchen shelf selected with the tab open. Use the shelf’s own settings when you want to decide what should be stored there.
Use the filter tree to choose item groups
Find the filter tree in Storage and choose which groups of items belong on that shelf. The developer describes these filters as deciding which items haulers bring there. For a kitchen shelf, for example, choose the groups you want kept near the kitchen rather than treating it as general storage.
Check the filter when supplies go elsewhere
If the shelf isn’t receiving the items you expected, select it again and compare the filter choices with the item you want brought over. If you want two shelves to serve different purposes, check each shelf separately. The documented filter controls what haulers bring to that shelf, so use it to direct incoming supplies.
